Welcome to the Ensolanka Guest Portal, also referred to as the Expat Life App, Guest Portal, Resident Guest Platform, or Ensolanka Portal.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ensolanka collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and manages your personal information when you visit our website, create a Guest Account, select a lifestyle package, express interest in rental properties, dating partner profiles or local service assistants, make payments, communicate with our team, use the Payment Center, or receive Ensolanka services.

By using the Ensolanka Portal, submitting information, creating an account, making a payment, or receiving our services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Ensolanka supports international Guests as respected Resident Guests. Because our services may involve housing, local support, dating/social introductions, payments, arrival support, and legal or visa guidance, we aim to handle personal information carefully, respectfully, and only for legitimate service purposes.

Types of Personal Data We May Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the platform and which services you request.

Account Data

Name, username, email, phone, WhatsApp number, nationality, country, and login details.

Travel Data

Expected arrival date, duration of stay, travel plans, selected package, and lifestyle preferences.

2.2 Guest Profile and Travel Information

  • Remote worker, freelancer, retiree, online business owner, or long-stay visitor status where provided.

2.3 Rental, Furniture, Assistant, and Social Interest Data

  • Rental properties you view, save, select, or express interest in.
  • Final rental property selection and rental arrangement details.
  • Furniture package selections, deposits, monthly rental records, and rent-to-own progress where applicable.
  • Local service assistant profiles you view, select, or request to interview.
  • Dating partner profiles you view or express interest in.
  • Mutual interest confirmations, event preferences, and social/dating arrangement status.

2.4 Payment, Wallet, and Transaction Data

  • Confirmation Fee status.
  • One-Time Service Fee status.
  • Featured profile fee status.
  • Rental deposits, monthly rental records, and furniture rental/deposit records.
  • Digital Wallet or Cash Wallet credits, deductions, refunds, or internal balances.

Ensolanka uses personal information to operate the Guest Portal, provide services, protect users, coordinate third parties, process payments, support Guests, and improve the platform.

  • To create and manage your Guest Account.
  • To review, approve, reject, or update Guest profiles.
  • To understand your lifestyle package, budget, arrival plan, and stay preferences.
  • To coordinate rental property checks, selection, paperwork, and support.
  • To coordinate furniture rental, furniture deposit, monthly furniture rental, or rent-to-own arrangements.
  • To match or coordinate local service assistants such as drivers, housekeepers, cleaners, translators, helpers, and personal assistants.
  • To manage dating/social introductions through a mutual-interest and privacy-conscious process.
  • To plan airport welcome, first-day support, temporary accommodation, and settling assistance.
  • To manage payable items, payment status, digital wallet credits, refunds, and receipts.
  • To provide customer support, hotline assistance, reminders, alerts, and service updates.
  • To support visa, legal, documentation, or administrative coordination where requested or required.

Guest Profiles, Public Listings, and Private Access

When you create a Guest Account, some profile information may be used internally to review your suitability, understand your needs, and provide appropriate services.

4.1 Public and Private Profile Information

Some information may appear in public or limited-access areas only where the platform allows it, where you choose public visibility, or where Ensolanka approves the profile for display. Sensitive information, private contact details, payment details, documents, and internal notes are not intended for public display.

4.2 Featured Guest Profiles

If you choose to make your profile featured, certain non-sensitive profile details may receive increased visibility within the platform. Featured status does not mean all personal details become public.

4.3 Profile Review

Ensolanka may review profile information for safety, authenticity, service quality, legal compliance, and platform suitability.

Rental Property Data

If you view, save, select, or express interest in rental properties, Ensolanka may use that information to understand your housing preferences and coordinate with rental owners, landlords, or property managers.

We may share necessary information with rental owners or property managers only where needed for availability checks, viewing arrangements, approval, rental paperwork, deposit handling, monthly rental coordination, property handover, or dispute resolution.

Rental Privacy Notice

Expressing interest in a property does not mean your full private data is automatically shared with the owner. Ensolanka aims to share only the information reasonably required for the arrangement stage.

Local Service Assistant Data

If you express interest in a local service assistant, request interviews, or select service support, Ensolanka may use your information to coordinate with relevant drivers, housekeepers, cleaners, translators, helpers, security guards, personal assistants, or other service partners.

Information shared may include your name, general location, required service type, expected schedule, interview request, agreed duties, service requirements, and other details necessary for coordination. Private payment details and unnecessary sensitive information should not be shared with service assistants.

Dating, Social Introductions, and Mutual Interest Privacy

The dating/social feature is designed for respectful, genuine, and serious social connections. Because this area involves personal and sensitive interaction, Ensolanka applies a more careful privacy process.

7.1 Mutual Interest Protocol

Contact details are not automatically shared when a Guest views or expresses interest in a dating partner profile. A mutual-interest process may be required: the Guest expresses interest, the Dating Partner reviews the Guest profile, the Dating Partner expresses interest back, and Ensolanka verifies that mutual interest and platform conditions are satisfied.

7.2 What May Be Shared

Where appropriate and approved, Ensolanka may share limited profile information, compatibility-related details, event preferences, or contact options for the purpose of safe social coordination. We aim to avoid unnecessary disclosure of private phone, WhatsApp, email, address, payment, or document information.

7.3 Safety and Misuse

Ensolanka may review, restrict, hide, suspend, or report profiles where we suspect harassment, fraud, exploitation, prostitution, trafficking, fake relationships, immigration abuse, financial manipulation, or other unlawful or harmful behavior.

Payment Center, Digital Wallet, and Transaction Data

The Payment Center may process or display payable items such as Confirmation Fee, One-Time Service Fee, Featured Profile Fee, rental deposit, monthly rental, furniture deposit, monthly furniture rental, dating event payments, assistant arrangement fees, transport fees, departure support fees, legal coordination fees, and other approved charges.

8.1 Payment Processors

Payments may be handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, banks, card networks, or other payment gateways enabled by Ensolanka. These processors may collect and process payment information under their own privacy and security policies.

8.2 What Ensolanka Stores

Ensolanka may store transaction references, payment status, payable item details, receipt information, wallet balances, refund records, and billing-related data. We should not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials where a third-party payment processor handles them.

8.3 Digital Wallet and Credits

The Digital Wallet or Cash Wallet may record refund credits, deposit credits, overpayment credits, cancelled booking credits, internal balances, future payment deductions, or approved compensation credits. Wallet data is used to manage your platform payments and credits.

When We Share Personal Information

Ensolanka does not intend to sell your personal information. We may share personal information only where needed for service delivery, safety, compliance, payment processing, legal obligations, or with your consent.

Ensolanka may communicate with you through the website dashboard, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, video calls, internal notifications, support tickets, official documents, or in-person meetings.

We may send service-related messages about account creation, profile review, payment reminders, rental arrangements, arrival support, assistant interviews, dating/social mutual interest, event arrangements, visa/legal guidance, account security, policy changes, and support matters.

Marketing communications may be sent where permitted by law or where you have provided consent. You may request to stop non-essential promotional communications, but we may still send essential service, security, legal, payment, or account notifications.

Cross-Border Data and International Guests

Ensolanka’s services are intended for international Guests who may be located outside Sri Lanka before arrival. Your information may be accessed, processed, or stored in Sri Lanka or in other countries where Ensolanka, hosting providers, communication providers, payment processors, or service partners operate.

By using the platform, you understand that your information may be processed across borders for account, service, payment, support, communication, safety, and legal coordination purposes.

Children and Minors

The Ensolanka Guest Portal is intended for adults. Users must generally be at least 18 years old to create an account or use services involving rentals, payments, dating/social introductions, service arrangements, or legal/visa coordination.

If a minor is included as a dependent family member of a Guest, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for providing and managing relevant information lawfully and appropriately.

Photos, Reviews, Testimonials, and Uploaded Content

You may submit profile photos, property preferences, descriptions, documents, messages, reviews, testimonials, or other content. You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and does not violate third-party rights.

Ensolanka may review, edit, reject, hide, or remove content that violates platform standards, privacy expectations, safety requirements, or applicable law.

Ensolanka will not use private personal stories, dating outcomes, sensitive information, or identifiable images in marketing without appropriate consent.

Ensolanka may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to new services, platform features, payment processes, legal requirements, operational changes, safety improvements, or business model updates.
