About Ensolanka Guest Portal
Basic questions about the purpose of the platform and the Resident Guest concept.
The Ensolanka Guest Portal is an online platform designed to help international Guests explore, plan, arrive, settle, and live in Sri Lanka. It supports lifestyle package selection, rental coordination, furniture options, service assistant arrangements, dating/social introductions, payment management, airport welcome, and ongoing guest support.
A Guest or Resident Guest is an international person who wishes to stay in Sri Lanka for a short, medium, or long period with Ensolanka’s support. We use the word “Guest” because our goal is to help people feel welcomed, supported, and respected, not just treated as tourists.
Ensolanka is primarily a facilitator, coordinator, platform operator, and local support provider. We are not a government immigration authority, visa-issuing office, bank, insurance company, legal owner of all listings, or a marriage agency guaranteeing results. Some services involve third-party providers and may require separate agreements.
The service may suit digital nomads, retirees, remote workers, online business owners, long-stay visitors, and people who want to experience Sri Lanka with practical local support. It is also suitable for Guests who want help with verified rentals, local assistants, social introductions, and a smoother arrival process.

Free Registration and Profile Review
Questions about creating a Guest Account and getting approved for further access.
Yes. Initial Guest signup is free. You can create an account, share your basic details, choose or indicate a lifestyle package, and explore public information before making any paid confirmation.
Free signup may allow access to your Guest dashboard, lifestyle package details, public rental listings, public service assistant profiles, public dating partner previews, Sri Lanka living guides, multilingual resources, and basic account management features.
No. Free signup does not automatically provide full access to private listings, contact details, detailed profiles, arrival arrangements, dating introductions, rental preparation, furniture setup, or service assistant appointments. These may require profile review, approval, confirmation payment, and other requirements.
Profile review helps us understand your travel intention, expected arrival date, lifestyle package, duration of stay, communication history, suitability for long-stay support, and safety or compliance concerns. This protects Guests, rental owners, dating partners, service assistants, and the Ensolanka support team.
Packages & Fees
Lifestyle Packages, Confirmation Fee, and Service Fee
Questions about Startup, Comfort, Premium, Luxury packages and related payments.
Ensolanka currently uses four main lifestyle levels:
- Startup — simple and practical living for budget-conscious Guests.
- Comfort — better accommodation and moderate comfort.
- Premium — higher living standard for professionals, couples, and digital nomads.
- Luxury — premium support, accommodation, and lifestyle arrangements.
Yes, you may request a package change. However, changes may affect service fees, payable items, rental options, temporary accommodation level, furniture recommendations, assistant arrangements, and preparation work. Ensolanka may approve, reject, or modify requests based on feasibility and payment status.
The Confirmation Fee is currently USD 100 unless changed on the platform. It confirms your serious intention to proceed and allows Ensolanka to begin practical preparation, such as checking interested rental properties, service assistant profiles, dating partner interests, airport welcome planning, and internal coordination.
The Confirmation Fee may become non-refundable once Ensolanka has started preparation work, communication, verification, or arrangement activity for you. Any refund decision depends on timing, work already performed, third-party costs, cancellation reason, and written policy.
The One-Time Service Fee is paid to Ensolanka for main guest facilitation, transition support, local coordination, airport welcome preparation, rental and furniture coordination, local assistant coordination, dating/social coordination, and general advocacy during the settling process. The amount may vary according to your selected lifestyle package and service scope.
The Featured Guest Profile Fee is an optional additional fee, currently USD 5 unless changed. It may help give your profile extra visibility or priority display in certain platform areas. It does not guarantee better service quality, dating success, rental approval, assistant acceptance, visa approval, or legal outcomes.
Rentals
Rental Listings, Deposits, and Monthly Rent
Questions about property listings, expressing interest, final selection, and rent.
Not always. Rental properties may be owned by third-party rental owners, landlords, or property managers. Ensolanka may verify, review, inspect, describe, or recommend listings, but Ensolanka is not automatically the legal landlord unless specifically stated.
Expressing interest means you are showing Ensolanka which properties you may prefer. It does not mean the property is reserved, guaranteed, accepted by the owner, price-locked, or legally confirmed. Once you confirm arrival, Ensolanka can start checking availability and suitable options.
Final rental selection may happen after arrival or during final preparation. Ensolanka may guide or accompany you to inspect suitable properties. If you are satisfied, the final property can be confirmed in the portal or through written communication.
Many properties may require a deposit equivalent to approximately three months’ rent, unless a different requirement is stated by the property owner, rental agreement, or Ensolanka arrangement. The deposit may be required before keys are handed over.
In some cases, you may be allowed to settle the first month’s rental within a specified period, such as within 25 days from the rental start date. This is not automatic. It depends on owner agreement, Ensolanka approval, deposit status, payment history, and written confirmation.
You may request cancellation or relocation, usually with at least one month’s prior notice unless the rental agreement states otherwise. Cancellation may require written request, approval, settlement of rent and utilities, property inspection, key return, and deposit handling.
Furniture
Furniture Packages and Rent-to-Own Options
Questions about furniture rental, deposits, monthly rental, and ownership path.
You may need a furniture package if your selected rental property is unfurnished or partially furnished. Ensolanka may help you choose a suitable furniture package based on your lifestyle level, budget, property size, and expected stay.
For separate furniture packages, a deposit equivalent to three months of furniture rental may normally be required unless a different structure is displayed or agreed. The deposit may be refundable after cancellation, return, inspection, and settlement of damages or outstanding fees.
Yes, you may request cancellation of a separate furniture package, usually with at least one month’s prior notice unless different terms apply. Ensolanka may then arrange collection, inspection, outstanding rental settlement, and refund or wallet credit after deductions.
Where Ensolanka offers a rent-to-own or leasing-purchase model, you may become eligible to own the furniture after completing the agreed number of consecutive monthly payments. Under the current business concept, completing 24 consecutive months of furniture rental payments and satisfying retained deposit terms may allow the furniture package to be treated as completed leasing-purchase.
No. The furniture rent-to-own model applies only to separate furniture packages. It does not apply to fully furnished rental properties where furniture belongs to the property owner, unless separately agreed in writing.
Local Assistants
Drivers, Housekeepers, Translators, and Helpers
Questions about finding local support people through Ensolanka.
You may find or request local support providers such as drivers, housekeepers, cleaners, translators, helpers, security guards, personal assistants, care support providers, and other approved service partners.
If you are interested in one or more local assistants, Ensolanka may arrange interviews at your place, Ensolanka’s location, or another suitable location. If you select a person, the terms may include salary, work schedule, duties, trial period, leave, replacement, termination notice, and paperwork.
No. Ensolanka makes reasonable efforts to review and recommend suitable assistants, but we do not guarantee that every assistant will be available, accepted by the Guest, or willing to accept the requested terms. Availability may change.
Dating & Social
Relationship Introductions and Mutual Interest
Questions about respectful social connections, dating partner profiles, and event arrangements.
The dating/social feature is intended for respectful, genuine, and serious relationships, companionship, proposal, marriage, or social introductions between international Guests and approved local Dating Partners.
The Mutual Interest Protocol protects both Guests and Dating Partners. A Guest may express interest in a profile. The local Dating Partner may review the Guest profile and express interest back. Only after mutual interest is confirmed may Ensolanka facilitate safe communication or event planning.
No. Direct contact details are not automatically shared. Ensolanka may release or facilitate contact only where the approval process, mutual-interest process, safety checks, and platform rules are satisfied.
No. Ensolanka does not guarantee mutual interest, dating success, proposal acceptance, marriage, long-term relationship, emotional compatibility, family approval, or event outcome. We facilitate respectful introductions and safe coordination where appropriate.
Where mutual interest exists, Ensolanka may help coordinate dating events, proposal arrangements, wedding-related services, parties, or social functions through approved event hosts. Such bookings may require separate quotes, availability checks, payments, cancellation terms, and event host rules.
Arrival Support
Airport Welcome and First-Day Assistance
Questions about arrival, first-day support, temporary stay, and settling process.
For confirmed Guests, Ensolanka may arrange airport welcome and first-day support according to package, payment status, arrival schedule, and prior arrangement. This may include greeting, private transport coordination, temporary accommodation transfer, basic orientation, and next-step planning.
First-day support may include temporary accommodation, meals or food guidance where included, rest after travel, basic briefing, and later a cordial discussion about property finalization, furniture needs, local assistants, dating/social interests, payment schedule, legal or visa priorities, and long-term stay plan.
You should inform Ensolanka as soon as possible if your flight is delayed, cancelled, changed, or missed. Airport welcome and transport depend on accurate arrival details, flight timing, team availability, public safety conditions, road conditions, and reasonable notice.
Payments & Refunds
Payment Center, Wallet, Charges, and Refund Rules
Questions about payable items, payment methods, digital wallet, and refund handling.
The Payment Center may show payable items such as Confirmation Fee, One-Time Service Fee, Featured Profile Fee, rental deposit, monthly rent, furniture deposit, monthly furniture rental, furniture purchase amount, dating event booking, service assistant fees, transport fees, departure support fees, legal coordination fees, and other approved charges.
Payments may be supported through Stripe, PayPal, card payment, bank transfer, wallet balance, or other methods enabled by Ensolanka. Available methods may change. Third-party payment processor terms, fees, fraud checks, exchange rates, and settlement rules may also apply.
The Digital Wallet or Cash Wallet may record refund credits, deposit credits, overpayment credits, cancelled booking credits, internal balances, future payment deductions, or approved compensation credits. Wallet balances may be used for future Ensolanka payable items where permitted.
Not necessarily. Wallet balances are internal platform credits and may not automatically be withdrawable as cash unless Ensolanka approves withdrawal under applicable policy.
Refund eligibility depends on the payment type, timing, work already performed, third-party costs, cancellation reason, and written agreement. Refunds may be made to the original payment method, wallet balance, bank account, or another method approved by Ensolanka.
Visa & Legal
Digital Nomad Guidance and Legal Support
Questions about visa support, legal coordination, and responsibility limits.
No. Ensolanka does not issue visas and cannot guarantee visa approval. Immigration decisions are made by government authorities. Ensolanka may provide guidance, coordination, documentation support, or referrals where appropriate.
Ensolanka may provide guidance and coordination related to Digital Nomad Visa preparation, long-stay options, resident guest schemes, documentation, and related government processes. Requirements can change, so all visa information must be verified with official sources or qualified professionals.
Ensolanka may help Guests access legal support, legal coordination, lawyer referrals, or representation for legitimate matters. Legal services may be provided by independent lawyers or professionals, and legal fees may apply. Ensolanka is not itself a law firm unless separately licensed as such.
Support & Safety
Ongoing Support, Privacy, Responsibilities, and Departure
Questions about Guest responsibilities, hotline support, privacy, termination, and departure support.
Ensolanka may provide hotline or support team access during your stay. Support may include general guidance, emergency coordination, rental issue coordination, service assistant issue handling, local information, payment guidance, legal referral support, and departure planning.
No. The Ensolanka hotline is not a replacement for police, ambulance, fire, embassy, hospital, or official emergency services. In a real emergency, Guests must contact the relevant authority first where necessary.
Guests must provide accurate information, keep login details secure, update arrival plans if changed, pay fees on time, respect Sri Lankan law and culture, treat all people respectfully, maintain property and furniture properly, report issues promptly, and avoid unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or exploitative behavior.
Yes. Ensolanka may suspend or terminate access if a Guest violates platform rules, fails to pay required fees, provides false information, creates safety concerns, abuses staff or third parties, misuses dating or service assistant features, damages property or furniture, or makes continued service impractical, unsafe, or unlawful.
Guests should not use Ensolanka introductions, listings, private information, or staff effort to bypass Ensolanka for the purpose of avoiding fees. Bypassing the platform after introductions may lead to account suspension, cancellation of arrangements, applicable charges, refusal of future support, or legal action where appropriate.
Ensolanka may assist with departure transport, packing coordination, property handover, furniture return or ownership processing, deposit handling, service assistant closure, final account review, and farewell support. Promotional loyalty discounts may apply based on duration of stay, subject to approval and availability.
Personal data may be used for account creation, guest verification, service coordination, payment processing, rental arrangements, assistant matching, dating/social matching, event coordination, legal support, safety review, notifications, customer support, compliance, and fraud prevention. A separate Privacy Policy should explain this in more detail.
